Saturday, March 8, 2008
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY: Deuteronomy 4:1-9
PSALM OF THE WEEK: Psalm 138
HYMN OF THE DAY: #463 "Renew Your Church, Our Ministries restore"

VERSE OF THE DAY: But take care and watch yourself closely, so as to neither forget the things that your eyes have seen nor to let them slip from your mind all the days of your life; make them known to your children and your children's children. Deut 4:9 NRSV

Never forget what the Lord has done for you. Never forget to share that information with others, especially your own family. You know what you have seen God do. There have probably been miracles in your own life. There have probably been some times that were so hard that you wouldn't have been able to get through it without the presence of the Lord. This is what you have seen for yourself. This is what you know to be true. That is what we can share. By sharing it, we can help others going through the same thing.
The worst thing we can do is to forget it ever happened.

PRAYER: O Lord who never forgets me, may I never forget all that you have done for me. May I share that with those who need it in word and action.
Amen.

See you in Church Sunday,
Pastor Sandy
