VERSE OF THE DAY: May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ. 2 Thessalonians 3:5 NRSV

 

We humans have wondering minds and wondering hearts.  Where do you want yours to go?  Wouldn’t it be wonderful for our hearts and minds to always be directed toward God who will protect us from wicked and evil people (see verse 2), the Evil One (see verse 3) and will keep us doing all the good things for the Lord that we do (see verse 4).  This then is our prayer:  That God will direct our hearts and minds towards our Lord, forever.

 

PRAYER: God of Love and Steadfastness, direct my wondering heart and mind to you and your blessings.  May I truly live for you and have your words, your love, and your grace in my heart and on my mind in all that I do. Amen
