It’s romantic.  It’s beautiful.  It gives us warm remembrances.  This, however, is January.  We don’t like the snow anymore. We pray that it will go away.  It’s cold. It’s a mess. It is exactly the same as it was last month.  What changed?  Our opinion.  And it’s only going to get worse as the winter continues.  Funny how we do that.  We like something, then we don’t.  We want something, then we wish we didn’t have it.  Human nature is what it is. Yet, the snow keeps coming all winter, not just for your white Christmas.  Things continue to work according to God’s plan, not ours.  We may get impatient.  Will springtime ever get here? It always does.  Spring is going to arrive on God’s schedule, not ours. Actually, even in the worst winter of our lives, when everything may seem cold and dark, God is still going to bring us out of it, just like always.  Sometimes it seems like it isn’t going to happen, but it will.  It’s going to occur on God’s schedule, not ours. Yes, we have snow now.  Yes, we have troubles.  Yes, the flowers will bloom again and the days will warm up.  Yes, God has better things planned for us.  Wait upon the Lord. It’s the only way to get your eagle wings (Isaiah 40:31). Meanwhile, remain faithful.  God provides. Try to enjoy your snow as much as you can, even if it is too cold.  God knows that too.   See You in Church Sunday,   Pastor Sandy
